This course is designed to get students started with modifying kits. It’s the perfect way to dip your toes into the world of sculpting and kit modification. No prior experience with sculpting is necessary and add-on mini courses for specific modifications (pointy ears, claws, fangs, horns etc.) will be available shortly.
If you are otherwise comfortable with sculpting and different techniques used in sculpting, this course may be all you will need, to get you acquainted with using an elastic polymer clay on vinyl.
Learning goals:
- Planning the project
- Ensuring proper adhesion between vinyl and clay
- Making the transition between clay and vinyl appear seamless
- Ensuring a proper curing of the clay, without a negative effect on the vinyl
- Troubleshooting
and more…

Love this is this the only one your doing can you tell me what supplies are needed ? Will it be live or video?
Hi, Melony!
The list of supplies is under the first lesson, which can be previewed, the course is prerecorded, but there I’m available for support and will be adding content as needed. There is a more comprehensive course called Create Your Own Dragon, as well as add-on courses that can be added onto the basics course.
